Lauren entered the healthcare field in 2010 to make a difference in people’s lives. She received her undergraduate degree in 2010 then proceeded to obtain a Masters degree in Nursing from Mississippi University Medical Center. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of MS. With a focus in rural healthcare, Lauren is passionate about ensuring every woman, regardless of geographical location, has access to the same level of quality care. Beyond her role as an advanced practice provider, Lauren is a teacher, educator, innovator, and researcher.
She oversees business development and The Continence Program at Southeast UroGyn, a female clinic based in Flowood & Madison, MS.
She will be discussing The Continence Program, geared towards treating female bladder & bowel incontinence which is prevalent among 1 in 3 females leading to decrease quality of life, higher fall rates, & higher nursing facility rates just to name a few.
